Manzanillo, world renowned tourist
destination, made
famous by the construction of the beautiful, Morrocan
style, Las Hadas resort, is also a popular big game
fishing destination and is known as the Sailfish
Capital of the World. Manzanillo is a very
important Mexican port, being the gateway to the
Pacific Rim countries.
Manzanillo is approx 4 hrs from Puerto Vallarta and 3
1/2 hrs from Mexico's second largest city,
Guadalajara. Thus it is quite feasible for those
people who wish to have a vacation in Puerto Vallarta,
or Guadalajara, to also visit Manzanillo and Colima.
